Fish Hook

A two-piece hook with a wood shank, lined with shell on the inner surface, and a bone point. The bone point has a slightly outward curving tip and one barb on the inner side. The short line ends in a knot, made from twisted New Zealand Flax. There is dark discolouration on the back of the wood shank and the line is disintegrating.
