Fish Hook

A two-piece hook with a wood shank and a bone point. The bend is 'v'-shaped with a round cross-section. The point is incurving slightly with one barb on the inner surface, and is lashed on to the wood at a right angle. The line is plaited and badly lashed on with string, which may be a recent addition. The point lashing is loose, and the line fragile.
