Thin copper alloy wire fish-hook with curved end, barbed point and eyelet at the other end. Surface is now very corroded. The fish hook was excavated by Flinders Petrie at the of Tell el-Amarna during his 1891-1892 excavation of parts of the city. He then gave the fish hook to his friend Flaxman Spurrell along with many small finds from Amarna.
