A two-piece hook with an iron nail forming the shank and point. The shank is shell-lined, and inward-curving, with a gap between it and the nail. There is a knob at the base of the shell lining. The point is out curved, and roughly parallel to the shank. The fibre lashing is very rough and the edges of the shell are roughly cut. The point is blunt.
