Five original prints by Stewart Bale Ltd. Three show interiors of a house in Aughton, Ormskirk. Commissioned by furniture manufacturers Waring & Gillow Ltd., 15 March 1927 (photographer's stamp and negative numbers on verso). Two show exterior of brick building, perhaps training barracks or an unidentified factory. Soldiers in WWI uniforms and children stand outside the building. Photographer's logo embossed on bottom right, no stamp.; Stewart Bale Ltd. address 53 Lord Street, Liverpool, date the two exterior photographs to pre-1932.
