Flower Petal Pendant

Currently not on display

Glazed Egyptian faience flat backed fruit and floral amuletic jewellery element: a blue-green petal with loop at either end for suspension. This would have been strung to form an openwork broad collar characteristic of the 18th Dynasty. Mayer Inventory (1928): "M12588. Thirteen porcelain pendants in white, green, blue and red colours; Egyptian".
