Information

Queertet 2013 was a theatrical fringe event, part of Liverpool Pride. It aimed to give voice to new writing, acting, and directing talent showcasing four short LGBT-related productions in one evening. It was held for the second time that year at the Lantern Theatre, Blundell Street, 25-27 July and featured the new plays Two's Up, Honey Get Over It, About The Boy, and WLTM and was hosted by Liverpool actor Eddie Fortune. Two’s Up - a sequel to a play from the year before about the “Mother from Hell and her put upon son”. Honey Get Over It! - a “sharp and witty cross between Ghost and Drop Dead Fred with camp complications and misunderstandings”. About The Boy - a “sweet and frothy love story about lesbian cross dressing and the odd moustache!” WLTM - set in a New York coffee shop full of “lonely hearts with uplifting new and original music”. Kindly donated to the Museum of Liverpool by Liverpool Pride.
