Footwear

Small leather sandal with toe cap. Thong is stiched with leather which is largely missing. Heel is worn away in places. Collected by Rev. G J Chester (1864) and said to be from Thebes and of the 18th Dynasty. CONDITION NOTE (1998): Surface cracking, misshaped, surface dirt, label sellotaped to surface.
