Footwear

Sole of a leather sandal. Thong is stiched with leather and the heel is broken away. Collected by Rev. G J Chester (1864) and said to be from Thebes and of the 18th Dynasty. CONDITION NOTE (1998): Surface cracking, surface dirt, label sellotaped to surface.
