Information

Fragment of the torso long of a skirted figurine with one wing only, a votive offering from the Sanctuary of Artemis Orthia in Sparta (or possibly another sanctuary site in Lakonia). She faces to her left and has her right wing complete but the left wing is only half. She possibly carries a sword. Lines across her skirt and wing give are used to attribute the texture of the skit and wing. The fragment is verydegraded and there are large amounts of excess lead around the complete wing.
