Funerary Cone of Menkheper

Pottery funerary cone, stamped on the round end with an image, the name and title of the deceased. The hieroglyphic inscription reads: “Praising Re rising in the horizon up the sky by scribe of the offering-table of Amun, Menkheper" [dwA ra wbn=f m Axt n pt jn sS wdHw n jmn mn-xpr]. CONDITION NOTE (1998): Incomplete, pitted, surface dirt, hieroglyphs are worn, label adhered.
