Funerary Cone of Min

Pottery funerary cone with stamped impression of a hieroglyphic inscription on the flat end. Three columns without dividing lines read: "Mayor of the oasis, overseer of the prophets of Osiris, scribe Min". From the tomb of Min, TT 109 of the18th Dynasty, reign of Tuthmose III. The stamped end and 40 mm of the length is painted red. The tip is broken broken off. Transliteration: HAtj-a n wHAt jmj-rA Hmw-nTr n Asjr sS mnw.
