Pottery funerary cone, stamped on the round end with the name and title of the deceased. The hieroglyphic inscription reads: “Steward, Paentjebu justified" [ jmj-rA pr pA-n-Tbw mAa-xrw]. CONDITION NOTE (1998): Incomplete, chipped, residue, surrface dirt. Wellcome Historical Medical Museum accession no. 27445A: Two Egyptian pottery model loaf-seal cones, 7" and 6½". Purchased at Stevens's, London, 15 July 1924 Lot 481.
