Funerary Cone of Satra

Pottery funerary cone, stamped on the round end twice with the name and title of the deceased. The hieroglyphic inscription reads: "Cup-bearer of the king, Satra" [wbA-nswt sAt-ra]. CONDITION NOTE (1998): Incomplete, tip broken, large area of loss, surface dirt, worn, label adhered to surface. Wellcome Historical Medical Museum accession no. 161861. Purchased at Glendining's, Lot 143 16-17 October 1933.
