Funerary Cone of Tasherimin

Pottery funerary cone, stamped on the round end with the name and title of the deceased. The hieroglyphic inscription reads: “ Wife of wab-priest of Osiris and the god of Ta [...] rw, Tasherimin justified, born of Padiaaes justified" [Hmt wab n Asjr pA nTr n tA [...] rw tA-Srj-mnw mAa-xrw sAt pA-dj-aAs mAa-xrw]. Paper label numbered '34' stuck to the surface. CONDITION NOTE 1998: Incomplete, heavily pitted and chipped, surface loss, surface dirt. Ex de Rustafjaell collection.
