Scarab carved from greywacke with incised detail. The back is plain with holes pieced round the edge for stitching to fabric or beads. Three of the threading holes are broken. Glasgow Art Galleries & Museums loan sticker on the underside. Miss Tankard notes this is "Newberry type 61".

Exhibited in Glasgow 1912-15 (no. 39cq - '12).
