Funerary Scarab

This winged scarab consists of two pieces: an actual scarab beetle and one separately made wing (60.34.10a-b). One wing is missing. The scarab is of a blue glazed faience, moulded with detailing on the obverse and decoration in yellow and red paint. The underside is plain with six holes pieced round the edge for stitching to fabric or beads.
