Fragment of a wreath made of twigs of sweet marjoram, chrysanthemum flowers and hibiscus petals. The funerary knot is made of strips of papyrus and Celosia argentea or Cockscomb. Collected at Hawara by W. M. Flinders Petrie, 1889. Prepared and mounted for display by Percy Newberry with his description: "No. 4. Portion of a wreath composed of flowers of the blue water lily and twigs of Sweet Marjoram". CONDITION NOTE 1998: Brittle, dry, fragmenting a little.
