Funerary Wreath of Flowers

Portion of a wreath composed of Origanum, Cyperus pith and Withania. Collected at Hawara by W. M. Flinders Petrie in 1889 and labelled by Percy Newberry with his description: "twigs of sweet marjoram, berries of the Solanum and papyrus pith coils". CONDITION NOTE 1998: Dry but quite stable.
