Funerary Wreath of Flowers

Portion of a wreath composed of Nymphaea, Scirpus inclinatus and Origanum. Collected at Hawara by W. M. Flinders Petrie in 1889 and labelled by Percy Newberry with his description, "twigs of Sweet Marjoram". CONDITION NOTE 1998: Very dry, fragmenting a little.
