Garden seat

Garden seat, barrel-shaped; porcelain; the top engraved with a formal lotus blossom and four leaves, coloured turquoise on purple ground; body turquoise blue with a broad central band or frieze having a relief mask on two sides; with lotus plants and cranes between incised in the paste and coloured aubergine and yellow; the frieze is bordered above and below with bands of purple bosses in high relief.
