Gekko gecko Linnaeus, 1758

Lizard with large, flat head with big eyes with yellow iris. Upper body covered with large hemi-spherical tubercles, the digits of the hands and feet are narrow at the base and enlarged at the tip with a series of adhesive pads on the lower surface. Colour is blue-grey to brownish grey with numerous deep blue and reddish-orange spots along the back. Total length 28-35 cm.
