George's Dock, Liverpool

A small etching showing George's Dock in Liverpool seen from the water towards one of its dock sides. It shows the Goree warehouses along the edge of the dock behind a series of smaller buildings. At the dock, a small sail ship is moored, in the centre of the canvas. This etching was created before the George's Dock was filled in 1899 to create a land space to build the Three Graces and the Pier Head.
