Gerrhosaurus nigrolineatus Hallowell, 1857

A large, thick-bodied lizard with large, robust head. The back is reddish-brown with well-defined black-edged, yellow stripes, the flanks are vermillion to chestnut-brown, usually with irregular yellow spots, the belly is cream to yellow-white. Length up to 56 cm.
