Gilded wooden manuscript cover inlaid with turquoise or glegs shing

A deeply carved and gilded wooden manuscript cover. The carving shows Shakyamuni Buddha, Prajnaparamita and Vairochana surrounded by tiny Buddhist figures. It would have covered the Prajnaparamita text from the Kanjur. On the back of the cover is an inscription and dedication to the person who commissioned the book in red and gold.
