Guardian Lion Statue / Seng-ge

One of a pair of large Nepalese brass guardian lions or seng-ge. Female figure with wrathful expression, matted mane and arched tail. Nepalese script dates figure to Vikrama year 1965 (1908). Figure stands on custom made wooden plinth painted and decorated with floral designs.
