Hair Pins

Four fragments of ivory hair pins. One piece mended from two fragments. Previous old mends failed. Lengths: 39 mm, 48 mm, 7 mm, 16 mm. CONDITION NOTE (1998): Broken, worn, surface dirt. From the Egypt Exploration Fund 1884 excavations at Tanis (San el-Hagar), directed by William Flinders Petrie; assigned to the Egypt Exploration Fund in the division of finds by the government of Egypt.
