Information

Wooden hand drum carved with two circular registers. The panels included characters from the Tibetan script which are part of the mani formula interspersed with this are vajras and skulls. The registers are enclosed with a band of concentric circles. The drum skins are made from snake skin membranes and the short handle is carved bone handle with tang and iron wires are showing, which suggest possible continuation of shaft in wood.
