Handaxe

Ovate bifacial handaxe, opaque warm brown patina, patch of thick light brown crust on one long edge, forming butt. Collected by W. M. F. Petrie in the al-Marashda region during the winter of 1893-4 for the Egyptian Research Account. CONDITION NOTE (1998): Surface dirt, fresh chip, label adhered to surface, small crack.
