Head from a votive statue

Information

A small male head from a votive statuette. The shape of the face is round and the eyes are wide with well defined eye lids whose corners meet. There is red pigment on the pupils of the eyes. The nose is straight with well defined nostrils and the lips are thin. The hair of the man is short with a thin fringe on the forehead and underneath the wreath that has significantly faded. Only the right ear survives. The back of the head is very flat and the statuette was probably only meant to be seen from the front.
