Information

Silver (electrum) wire pendant, shaped to resemble the heh hieroglyph that denoted eternity: 'millions-of-years'. Once worn as an amulet to bestow eternal protection on its owner. Outer corroded silver wire is intact and the body of the deity is present but both arms are missing. From a robbed burial excavated by David Randall-MacIver and Arthur Mace in 1900 at Cemetery D at Abydos (Tomb D81).
