Helmet

The helmet is constructed in three basic sections, a spool shaped finial, a rounded helmet bowl (one piece) and a short brim with a faceted edge, which is rivetted to the front of the brow. Traces of damescence work can still be seen on the trefoil tabs at the base of the finial, the top edge of the brow band, and the upper edge of the brim. The helmet is extremely shiny, due to previous over cleaning.
