Hemidactylus mabouia (Moreau de Jonnes, 1818)

A medium-sized gecko with flattened head and body and stout tail which is flattened below. The back is pale grey to grey-brown, plain or with 4-5 faint, irregular bands, there are 10-12 dark bars on the tail. Length up to 17 cm.
