High Official's Robe

An imperial yellow satin robe, embroidered in coloured silks and gold thread, with dragons, Buddhist emblems and landscape motifs; the gussets are filled with diagonal rainbow-coloured stripes. Lined throughout with squirrel fur. Ties of red silk at waist.
