HMS Natal capsized

Glass lantern slide by unknown photographer, ca. 1916. Image shows the hull of HMS Natal, Admiralty, sticking up out of the water in the Cromarty Firth, Scotland. Natal sank following an internal amunitions explosion on 30 December 1915. Between 390 and 421 people were killed in the accident.
