The maker of this watercolour is unknown. It is from the The Liver Sketching Club, a historic Liverpool Institution originally formed in 1872 as the Liverpool Amateur Sketching Club. The Walker Art Gallery purchased this watercolour from Mrs J Pelham, wife of artist James Pelham who was a former member of The Liver Sketching Club.
