Horse and Chariot Figure

Stone carved sculpture of a pair of harnessed horses pulling a chariot. Traces of red paint and surface dirt. Pierced twice at the front. Previously assumed to be from Tell el Amarna but as yet no record of how Henry Wellcome acquired it. Paper label with the number 11 on the base along with trace of a pencil inscription "...2 M".
