Human Remains; Canopic Jar Contents

Contents of Canopic Jar of Ahmose [LL 5134a]. Remains of layers of linen bandages once wrapped around the contents of a canopic jar, perhaps a wrapped internal organ. Besides the bandages is a brown powder and small lumps of a hard black shiny substance (resin?). The powder is degraded linen and may also contain human remains.
