Mummified arm and shoulder joint from a person about 12 years old. Held under the arm a small roll of brittle papyrus with some cursive hieroglyphic text visible, which is most likely of a fuenrary nature such as the Book of the Dead. X-rayed in February 2007 and no sign of disease or infection could be detected in the bones and development appears to be normal.
CONDITION NOTE (1998): Papyrus is slightly loose, some white flecks on surface, remnant of gold, old damage to arm, surface dirt.
