Issue no. 1 of I Conception, A5 sized magazine. White cover featuring hand-drawn images of Rastafarianism and African continent. Cover also features an image of Africa and Rastafarian colours of green, gold and red, which also appear as a border on the front cover. Back cover features an image of Toussaint L'Ouverture with green, gold and red border.
I Conception is a Rastafarian magazine which was published in Liverpool. It promoted a belief in equality between races and the maintenance of Black cultural identity. The articles consider subjects such as the birth of civilisation and the inspirations of Marcus Garvey, the leader of the Pan-Africanism movement.
