Fragment of basalt carved in sunk relief with part of a cartouche of Thutmose III with white pigment inlay. On the underside of the object there appears to be a pivot hole suggesting it has been used as a doorway threshold. Sold at Sotheby's 1906, 19-21 Dec Lot 57/6: Others-cartouche of Thothmes III, head of Ammon-Ra, vulture etc.; Deir-el-Bahri (page 6, pl. IX.4).
