Inscribed Strip of Papyrus

One of seven strips of papyrus, painted with blue ground, lined yellow, hieroglyphs outlined in red. Part of the decoration of a mummy. Inscribed for Mery, a sailor of the barque of Amun. Good technique. CONDITION NOTE (1998): Unsuitable mounts, incomplete, adhered to card, areas of loss, dirty; salts on two sections.
