Interior of St Paul's Cathedral

Born in Liverpool, Topham studied at the Royal College of Art and the City and Guilds of London Institute. He exhibited at the Royal Academy, the Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolour and the Paris Salon, amongst many others. He also wrote art textbooks. He often painted architectural interiors such as this of St Paul's Cathedral in London. His daughter Ella was also an artist who studied at the Slade School and the Royal College of Art.
