Items re the death of Arthur Hughes, baker, Arabic, White Star Line.

Presentation letter from George V and death card in envelope. Sent to Thomas and Elizabeth Hughes on the death of their son, Arthur Hughes in the sinking of White Star Line's Arabic on 19 August 1915. Contained in small white envelope with black edging. The front of the card has a floral tribute and the words "In Loving Memory". Arthur was their youngest son, only 20 years old when killed. He served as an Assistant Baker on board.
