42 glass negatives re the capsize and raising of the Empress of Canada in Gladstone Dock in 1953, belonged to Captain W. R Colbeck, Mersey Docks and Harbour Board (MDHB) marine surveyor and water bailiff who directed the operation. Chart of Liverpool Bay drawn by W.
