Envelope addressed to Mrs H B Thomson, Dalmuir, Scotland showing a Great Bitter Lake Stamp with a Christmas Tree, dated 'Noel 1968'. Letter not included. Envelope and letter addressed to Hector Thomson, Dalmuir, Scotland from Les Sells[?] Radio Officer, Agalampus (the shared name given to the two Blue Funnel ships in the lake - Agapenor and Melampus) with a Great Bitter Lake Association postage stamp. Letter refers to Hector's arrest (see notes below for story) after he left the vessel and the inter vessel football world cup. Vessels were trapped from 1967-1975. Hector Thomson was 3rd officer on Agalampus in December 1967.
