Jackal Inlay

Recumbant jackal form of Wepwawet or Anubis in dark blue glass. Flat backed with remains of old adhesive and fabric (?). Half of tail missing. Purchased from John Garstang in 1949 ("Garstang Collection") which he bought at Luxor. CONDITION NOTE (1998): Pitted, chipped, surface dirt.
