Syro-Hittite (Neo-Hittite) pottery jar. Ovoid form, standing on a flattened base, the body decorated with stylized figures with bird-like features and depressed circular eyes, one holding a child, another arms opened as a worshipper. Similar jars in the Fitzwilliam Museum are dated later to about 800-700 BC (e.g., ANE1.1996).
