Large painted storage jar decorated with blue and red on buff fabric that features a hatch pattern. Found in fragments and reconstructed in 2008. The jar was excavated during the1922 excavations of the Egypt Exploration Society in House P46.14 in the main city site of Tell el Amarna, described by the excavator as a “good middle class house of a fairly normal type with a courtyard". Before the reconstruction of the pot in 2008 many sherds were also marked 1973.4.209 but the newly reassembled pot is now recorded as 1973.1.513.
