Jar

Cylindrical jar which narrows towards the base, with a wavy band in relief around the body below a flat rim. Traces of buff and a red string design. Type 46d. CONDITION NOTE (1998): Previous repair to rim, adhesive on body of jar around break edges, chipped around break edges, chipped rim, pitted surface, surface loss, black mottling, white residue.
